As part of the Children’s Discovery Foundation’s vision to be a thriving community in which every young person is welcomed, supported, and inspired, they provide fiscal sponsorship to us, the Peach Pit. What does this mean? With its established governance and financial management systems, Children's Discovery Foundation (DBA Funhouse Commons) provides administrative and financial oversight so the Peach Pit can operate and grow. While the Peach Pit operates under the Funhouse’s nonprofit umbrella for compliance purposes, the Peach Pit is independently led and maintains its own programming, leadership, and fundraising efforts.

Remaining fiscally sponsored allows the Peach Pit to prioritize program excellence, community partnerships, and measurable outcomes, while leveraging the Funhouse’s established financial oversight, compliance systems, and administrative infrastructure. This strategic alignment reduces operational risk, strengthens accountability, and ensures that philanthropic investments are directed toward impact rather than duplicative back-office costs.

As Peach Pit continues to expand its reach and build long-term sustainability, this partnership provides a stable and scalable framework for responsible growth. Our strong and growing partnership highlights the power of collaboration in serving island youth. All contributions to the Peach Pit are tax-deductible through the Children’s Discovery Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, doing business as Funhouse Commons.
